Immediately following the RFIC Plenary Session is the RFIC Reception to be held at the Tampa Marriott Waterside Hotel & Spa in the Grand Ballroom Foyer adjacent to the Grand Ballroom. This social event is a key component of the RFIC Symposium, providing an opportunity to connect with old friends, make new acquaintances, and catch up on the wireless industry. Admittance is included with RFIC Symposium registration.  Additional tickets can also be purchased separately at registration.


IMS2014 Kickoff Celebration:

All Microwave Week attendees and exhibitors are invited to attend the Kick Off Celebration hosted by IMS2014 at the Tampa Convention Center on the Riverwalk.   This year we will be featuring a water ski show in addition to various entertainment.

The IEEE MTT-S Young Professionals and Student Committees invite all young professionals and student members and guests to a complimentary reception at the Tampa Aquarium. This will be an excellent opportunity not only to relax and entertain, but also to interact and network with other young professionals and student members.

This year we will have a special speaker Dr. Abbas Semnani.  Dr. Semnani's talk is entitled "From graduate school to the job market; My story as an IEEE-MTT Member".

All students are invited to attend the luncheon which recognizes recipients of the MTT-S Undergraduate Scholarships, MTT-S Graduate Fellowships, IMS2014 Student Volunteers, IMS2014 Student Paper Awards and the participants/winners of the IMS2014 Student Design Competitions and Student Challenge.

Opening Reception:

The closing reception will be collocated with the WAMICON/ARFTG Opening Reception. During the combined reception,  you will have the opportunity to interact with students who will present their unpublished research progress in a special evening student poster session, which has been a unique tradition for WAMICON.
